Holiday Destinations – Beziers France
We had not really ventured close to Beziers until just recently and didn’t realise just how nice a city it was.
Well that changed when we had to do an airport run out that way and we spotted the bridges over the River Orb, the wonderful cathedral perched on the hill and the Canal du Midi just thrown in for free.
Quite fitting really as Pierre-Paul Riquet the architect of the Canal du Midi was a native of Beziers, so as to be expected a lot of his presence in and around the city, and rightly so.

Hi Brian, thanks for visitng my site. I also love travelling and this site of yours is very helpful for me. I also love to visit your country someday.
Hi. Glad to see you're staying active on your blog and on Squidoo!
Hi Brian, greetings from Borneo. I stumbled upon your very nice blog while searching for other information. Am glad to know that we share the same interests in travelling and photography and furthermore, we were both born in the same year 51 years ago!.Wishing you happiness and all the best.
Hi Brian…I do sooo love your blog on France. I had the good fortune to live there myself for four years a long time ago and have been an unabashed francophile ever since.
Even though you're in a different part of France than I was (Normandy), so much that is French no matter where you are in the country comes through on your pages.
Ah, the markets! The bread! I'll stop now or I never will. 😉 Thanks for a lovely visit.
